I wanted to stop by and say Happy 30th so that I could say I tweeted you, facebooked you, commented you and emailed you. So I do send those wishes for the best birthday ever. Especially cuz it’s your 30th.
But I have to say that when I stopped here I got very sober reading your precious words about your dear Grandma.
You are a good writer. Not only because you put words together so nicely. You are a good writer because you put feelings together and make extremely honest attempts to decipher them.
And this is just one reason why I love you so.
Happy Birthday, Nelly.

PS and then I went to bed last night (as I am half a day ahead of you here) thinking, “Shoot! I didn’t send a skype a bday greeting!” Darn!
